He was busy just walking down the aisles, trying to find something. This was a great find. But even in this store he couldn’t seem to find a single thing for the two. So he gave up and grabbed a can of pringles and a bag of cheetos. They can fight over them, he didn’t know what else to get the two. He refused to pick up snoballs, so that was out of the question.
Tallahassee looked over to Sparks as she asked that. “Nah, I think they just had to put it on for shelf life. I think the worst would happen that it’d be flat…” He shrugged. He was never a really big soda drinker, alcohol was another story though. But soda was another rare thing to find. “How many cases are there? If there’s a bunch we should taken em then we could split em up when we get there.” He chuckled lightly at her comment.
He looked over to her. “Ya got everythin’ ya want?”
Sparks hadn’t seen any twinkies around, so she knew that might have been a disappointment to him. It might have been best to not mention that though, for the both their sakes. The soda left an almost forgotten familiar feeling in the back of her throat. A sugar rush would probably hit some time during the day with the always memorable crash. Though maybe that would serve her well.
She turned back to where the soda’s where, sipping from her drink as she did so. It looked like there were three boxes of twelve cans. That was a lot, might last 3 weeks.
“3 boxes, wanna take them then?”
Her fingers already began to grip the dusty boxes. Honestly, she was eager to get going and meet his group. To see more people.
