Her face was adorable when she got flustered. Her cheeks tinged pink and she couldn’t exactly look him in the eye either. “I thought you were dead. So I might be a little excited to see you,” he laughed. “Brings real meaning to the phrase ‘you never know what you have til it’s gone.’ I am not going to let us get separated again.”
Sparks’s comment on not having any boundaries made him chuckle as he gazed back at her. “Trust me I am happy. I couldn’t be happier honestly.” When she didn’t appear to have any objection to his action his face instantly lightened. His smile returned and his eyes gleamed. “Good to know.”
When she startled ramblings all Jake could do was laugh and shake his head. “Your kissing is fine. And don’t be so ridiculous. It is just us. Nothing has to change here so there is no reason to be embarrassed about anything. Its okay.” Her embarrassment was amusing, but he didn’t really understand it. It was just the two of them. The only thing that changed was the possibility of the feelings changing.
Sparks hid her face in her hands, and looked over at Jake. She broke out in a laugh. She could still feel the trails her tears had left on her cheeks. Now her face was grinning, and she smiled. He was smiling and she was smiling. The blonde nodded, there would never be anything that would let them get separated.
Her blush was still on her face, but she wasn’t as embarrassed anymore. Her hands came down to meet his, “I’m glad nothing has to change, I just hope we don’t have to get lost an reunite again to kiss."
The blonde’s wide smile shrunk a bit, into a tiny one sided one.
"Let’s get out of her, we’re too out in the open.”
It was amusing how moments ago her body was hot from searching this forest for her lost companion. Nearly minutes ago...
Jake loved the way that Sparks blushed under his touch or anytime he complimented her. Or even showed her that he cared...
