“I wish it was that simple. About being a murderer no I don’t think so. But when I go out I do things for money that I know is wrong. I’m a prostitute and I have been for awhile now. That’s where I go at night to have sex with people for money. Are you going to tell mom and dad? please don’t.” Enzo looked at his sister for a moment knowing that he finally told the truth. Trying to stay calm the boy felt at peace telling his sister the truth. She had a right to know and besides he cared for her and he would do anything she wanted. Even kill for her if she asked. Finally he told her even if he didn’t want to.
The revelation of the truth. It was hard to handle. Her heart sank to her stomach, as she finally understood what was doing on with her brother. Images of what he could be WAS doing fluttered through her mind. How intimate and close he could be getting with strangers, she had to bite back vile coming through her throat. Sex with strangers. An act so intimate she hadn’t been able to do it herself at all. At the very least he wasn’t a murderer, but the crime was still there. A hint of jealousy coursed through her but she suppressed the feeling. When he glanced at her there was no way to hide the emotion, tears were already falling down her cheeks.
“I’m glad to finally know what’s going on, but I can’t believe this burden you’ve been carrying alone. This must have been so hard, how have these nights been making you feel? You didn’t have to do this alone, Enzo. I could have been there for you. I can help you. If you’d be willing to teach me, I’d be willing to learn.”
