.     “Well, when my men are on runs, they keep an eye out for weapons. Anything they find, they bring back, an’ put in there. They get cleaned, fixed, oiled. Put to better use.”

.     Brian finally turns to a somewhat disheveled brick building, and gives it a wide gesture. It was a modest complex that had once been a shabby motel, u-shaped, the dry skeletal remains of a pool at its center. In far shabbier condition than the rest of the buildings, but still, old world enough that the windows were still intact. And the door numbers were all there.

.     “It ain’t the most attractive place, I admit. But it’s comfortable.”

Sparks nods as she listens. It sounds like a good task. She doesn’t have much experience assembling weapons. Most times she prefers to use a blade. Typically attacking walkers one by one. When she does come across a gun she usually uses it as long as she can, until she can no longer find ammo and then usually gets rid of it. So this task is something she’d love to get her hands on. “I think that would be a good start for me.”

They walk further along and come across a rundown building. If she’d been looking for it she might have missed it. But she still was happy to come across it. Hoping someday it could become a future home.

“Don’t worry it’ll be great no matter what. I haven’t felt comfortable… In a long time.” She smiled at him. Silent for a moment looking over the building. She finally approached him with the question she’s been dying to ask. “So… I’ve noticed a few of the residents giving you a certain… admiring look.” wording her words carefully and playfully. “Is there something you’re not telling me, Phillip?”
