“Well well. So you’re the newbie everyone’s chattering about.”
. The arrival of a rather attractive blonde number had been the talk of their humble town for a few hours before Brian himself caught sight of her. Frankly, he didn’t think he was going to be impressed, but he found himself pleasantly surprised. She surpassed expectation.
. “Welcome to Woodbury, miss…?”
Who knows how long she’d been wandering all out on her own. Somehow she’d come across this community, and they had readily taken her in. She’d been wary following them, ready to bolt at any sign of trouble. When she saw the walls of this town her insecurity faltered. Hope ran through her veins, as she passed through the gates. A community welcomed her in. Sunshine dripped down on the houses like a halo. It was hard to believe any of it was true. She marveled in the town which she did not yet know it’s name. As she took in all the details of this, she was approached.
“Oh hello.” She smiled warmly, approached by a tall man. Had word about her spread around so quickly? There probably wasn’t much that happened in this town, Woodbury she just learned, and that thought excited her. She still wasn’t sure if she could drop her nameless act so instinctively her new name came out.
“Sparks, Nevada.” She was a deer caught in the headlights as she locked eyes with this stranger. Tall and handsome. A thought she shook away fast. “B-but you can just call me Sparks. This town is gorgeous, one of the nicest things I’ve seen…” In a long time, she thought to herself. She wondered if she could fit in. She smiled at him warmly “Who are you?”
